Flour & Figures Privacy Policy

Overview

Flour & Figures is provided by Sleepycat Software LLC. It is a local-first costing and quoting application for bakers and does not require an account.

Information stored on the device

Flour & Figures stores the following information locally on your device:

• Pantry item prices, package sizes, suppliers, and notes
• Ingredient conversions and reusable Component definitions
• Product cost breakdowns and pricing assumptions
• Quote details, including customer information entered on a Quote
• Fees, discounts, tax, deposits, payment instructions, terms, and internal notes
• Business Profile details and optional logo
• App settings and free-tier usage state

Ledger data is stored in the app's local database. Free-tier counters and purchase entitlement information may be stored in secure device storage.

Sleepycat Software does not receive or store the contents of your Pantry, Components, Products, Quotes, customer details, or Business Profile on its servers.

Backup, restore, and sharing

Backup export, backup restore, and optional logo selection use the operating system's document picker. Quote PDFs are generated locally on the device.

When you choose to share, save, or print a Quote PDF or share an exported backup file, the file is passed to the operating system's share or file interface. The selected third-party app or destination is governed by its own privacy practices.

Purchases

Flour & Figures offers an optional one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device. Flour & Figures uses RevenueCat to verify and restore purchase entitlement.

RevenueCat may process:

• An anonymous app user identifier
• Device type
• Operating-system information
• App activity timestamps used for entitlement operation
• Apple purchase receipts
• Google purchase tokens
• Purchase and entitlement history

Sleepycat Software does not receive or store users' complete payment-card information. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.

Support communications

Flour & Figures does not collect an email address through an in-app account. When you contact support voluntarily, Sleepycat Software receives the information included in the email, such as:

• Email address
• Message content
• Screenshots or attachments
• Device or troubleshooting details you choose to provide

This information is used to answer and resolve the support request.

Features Flour & Figures does not use

The current Flour & Figures application does not include:

• User accounts
• Advertising
• Third-party behavioral analytics
• Location access
• Contacts access
• Microphone or camera access
• Cloud storage or cloud synchronization of ledger contents
• Social features

Data retention and deletion

• Ledger data remains on the device until you delete it or remove the app, subject to operating-system backup and restoration behavior.
• Backup files you export are under your control and can be deleted like any other file.
• Purchase records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their respective policies and legal obligations.
• Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Children's privacy

Flour & Figures is a general-purpose business utility and is not directed specifically to children under 13. Sleepycat Software does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through Flour & Figures.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Flour & Figures's functionality, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when changes are published.
